ZIMBABWE: Vic Falls reopens for visitors |
The Victoria Falls reopened to the public on Wednesday, the 8th of July EIN News reports. The World Heritage Site, comprising the rainforest, the Falls and David Livingstone’s statue, was closed in March due to COVID-19. The facility opened for a few days last month when the government allowed tourism operators to take footage to market the destination. Last week, the government authorised Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority to open national parks and some amenities, as well as restaurants for sit-in clients. |
